2025 Graduate School INUvation Award Ceremony
Incheon National University (President: In-jae Lee) held the “2025 Graduate School INUvation Award” ceremony on February 20, 2026, to encourage the research capabilities of graduate students and recognize their academic achievements.
The ceremony was organized to commend graduate students for their creative research activities and outstanding accomplishments in their respective academic fields. A total of 93 graduate students were honored, including 1 Grand Prize recipient, 10 Excellence Award recipients, and 82 Merit Award recipients.
The Grand Prize was awarded to Yeon-jeong Kim, a doctoral student in the Department of Life and Nano Bioengineering. In 2025, Kim published five first-author papers in international academic journals, and the achievements were featured in BRIC’s “People Who Brightened Korea” (Hanbit-sa), significantly contributing to promoting the research capabilities of Incheon National University.
The Excellence Award was presented to 10 graduate students who demonstrated outstanding achievements across various majors and research fields. The recipients were selected based on the excellence of their academic accomplishments during their graduate studies, their contributions beyond the university, and their future potential. In addition, 82 Merit Award recipients were recognized for their distinguished activities and contributions to the advancement of both the university and the broader research community.
Jin Heo, Dean of the Graduate School, stated, “This ceremony demonstrates the Graduate School of Incheon National University’s educational and research capabilities in nurturing future research leaders.” He added, “I sincerely congratulate all the award recipients for their efforts and achievements, and we will continue to do our best to improve the research environment and expand support for our graduate students.”
